Boston Red Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction
I’m probably going to try the Sox. Fitts hasn’t given up an earned run yet, and in his last (first) three outings he’s got 15.2 innings with 13 hits and five walks combined. As for Gausman, he’s 1-1 with five earned runs in his last 18.0 frames across three starts.
On Tuesday the Sox out-hit Toronto 11-5 and came back from a 3-0 deficit to bag the dramatic victory. Boston used seven pitchers out of the bullpen, with five of them working one inning. If Fitts can eat up some innings in the start it’ll take some heat off the relievers Wednesday.
