Multi-award-winning sports writer, part-time oddsmaker and winning handicapper for more than 25 years, Stephen Nover is unique for his sharp analysis and elite North American sources.
Active since: 1997
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
A multiple award-winning sports writer for numerous newspapers, including the Las Vegas Review-Journal where he covered sports gaming for 13 years, Stephen Nover has developed and cultivated one of the best combinations of gambling and sports media sources in North America.
Parlaying more than 60 years worth of sports experience with tremendous knowledge of the players through elite deep-roster Rotisserie leagues and building on copious gaming and media sources - having worked for newspapers in the Midwest, South and West and also as a part-time linesmaker for legendary oddsmaker Roxy Roxborough in Las Vegas - Nover is a true wise guy. He not only knows the value of the players, but understands the betting line and more importantly how to time it and beat it.
Nover is the author of two sports gambling books, "Las Vegas Sports Beat" and "Sports Gaming Beat", along with a book on fantasy football titled, "Winning Fantasy Football." Nover taught a football handicapping class at UNLV and also was the co-host of the Sunday night sports betting radio show "The Stardust Line."
Part of what makes Nover so special is the pride he takes in writing his deep-dive analysis, which is unique, well-researched, entertaining and sometimes entails out-of-the-box thinking.
