B&H recorded eight total shots, five shots on target, and had 56% of the possession. Bosnia and Herzegovina got their lone goal from Katic, which was assisted by Dedic. Bosnia and Herzegovina has played one other friendly in recent weeks, which was a 0-0 draw with North Macedonia. 

Bosnia and Herzegovina has qualified for the World Cup just one time prior to this year, which was in 2014, when they were eliminated in the Group Stage. In 2014, Bosnia and Herzegovina lost 2-1 to Argentina and 1-0 to Nigeria, but they did beat Iran 3-1 in the third game. Canada comes into this matchup with momentum from being one of the hosts and they get a decent matchup to start things off, but I am not sure what to expect from them. Canada hasn’t played in a competitive match in about a year and their friendly results weren’t great. On the other side, Bosnia and Herzegovina should feel great about this opportunity after they upset Italy to qualify. I think this will be a lower scoring game with very few chances taken by either side and I think Bosnia and Herzegovina has some value here. Take them to win or draw in this one.
