Blue Jackets vs Devils Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Blue Jackets at Devils at 7 PM ET

This season, the Columbus Blue Jackets have achieved a record of 31-24-8, having recently triumphed over the Rangers with a decisive score of 7-3. The team’s scoring was bolstered by goals from Danforth, Fantilli (who netted three), Johnson, Olivier, and Fabbro. Furthermore, Tarasov demonstrated his skills by stopping 32 of the 35 shots directed at him throughout the match.

After their latest game, in which they triumphed over Philadelphia with a score of 3-1, the New Jersey Devils have a season record of 34-25-6. Goals were netted by Glass, Haula, and Mercer, while Allen demonstrated his skills by stopping 23 out of 24 shots on goal.

The Pick:

The Devils have achieved a home record of 15-11-4, while the Blue Jackets have recorded 11-18-4 in their away games. Columbus has won five of their last seven matches, scoring at least five goals in each of those victories. On the other hand, New Jersey has lost three of their last four games and is currently without their leading player, Jack Hughes. The Devils have been inconsistent over the past two months, and despite having an edge in goaltending, I find the offensive prowess of Columbus to be far superior to that of New Jersey. I recommend backing the Blue Jackets in this contest.

Panthers vs Bruins Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Panthers at Bruins at 7 PM ET

With a season record of 40-21-3, the Florida Panthers secured a decisive 4-0 victory against Buffalo in their most recent match. The goals were contributed by Bennett, Greer, Lundell, and Verhaeghe, and Vanecek achieved a perfect performance by stopping all 21 shots on goal.

This season, the Boston Bruins have achieved a record of 29-28-8 after their recent triumph against Tampa Bay, winning the game 4-0. The scoring for Boston included contributions from Kastelic, Koepke with two goals, and Zadorov, while Swayman recorded a perfect performance by saving all 26 shots directed at him.

The Pick:

This season, the Bruins have achieved an 18-11-5 record at home, while the Panthers have an 18-11-1 record in away games. Boston’s last match resulted in a surprising victory over Tampa Bay, providing them with considerable motivation, particularly with Marchand’s return after a recent trade. On the other hand, Florida is currently enjoying a six-game winning streak and has shown remarkable defensive prowess in their recent performances. The Panthers have allowed just one goal in their last four games, making them a challenging team to face when they are fully engaged defensively. Back the Panthers in this contest.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Pittsburgh Penguins Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Golden Knights at Penguins at 7 PM ET

The Golden Knights recently encountered the LA Kings in a challenging matchup, showcasing a potent offense that scored five goals. Unfortunately, their defense faltered, leading to a loss by a single goal. Tomas Hertl was a standout player, achieving a hat trick and significantly boosting the team’s scoring efforts. In goal, Adin Hill’s performance fell short, as he saved 29 out of 35 shots. At present, the Golden Knights maintain an average of 3.36 goals per game, while their defensive statistics reflect an average of 2.73 goals conceded.

The Penguins competed against the Minnesota Wild in their latest game, delivering an impressive display. Tristan Jarry, who was in goal, managed to save 29 out of 30 shots he encountered. This match also represented the last time Sidney Crosby and Marc-Andre Fleury played together, with the Penguins icon triumphing by scoring two goals. At present, the Penguins have an average of 2.82 goals per game, whereas their defense allows an average of 3.59 goals.

The Pick:

Throughout the season, the Penguins’ offensive struggles have been a persistent issue. In their latest game against the Minnesota Wild, although they emerged victorious, their offensive efforts in the initial two periods were largely unproductive. I lack confidence in Nedelijkovic’s performance as a goaltender. The Vegas team boasts an average of 3.36 goals per game and recently overwhelmed the Penguins in their previous matchup. Additionally, Vegas has recorded a perfect 5-0 in their last five games against Eastern Conference opponents. Back the Golden Knights on the puck line for a successful wager.

Ottawa Senators vs Philadelphia Flyers Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Senators at Flyers at 7 PM ET

The Ottawa Senators enter this matchup aiming to build on their recent 2-1 victory against the Detroit Red Wings, bringing their season record to 33 wins, 25 losses, and 5 overtime losses. Tim Stutzle is the leading scorer for the Senators, amassing 65 points through 20 goals and 45 assists, while Brady Tkachuk follows with 50 points, including a team-high of 26 goals and 24 assists. In goal, Linus Ullmark has a record of 16 wins, 11 losses, and 3 overtime losses, with a goals-against average of 2.67 and a save percentage of .913. Mads Sogaard has recorded 1 win and 1 loss, with a GAA of 5.24 and a save percentage of .800, while Anton Forsberg holds a record of 8 wins, 10 losses, and 1 overtime loss, with a GAA of 2.82 and a save percentage of .895. Additionally, Leevi Merilainen has performed well with 8 wins, 3 losses, and 1 overtime loss, boasting a GAA of 1.99 and a save percentage of .925 this season.

The Philadelphia Flyers approach this contest aiming to recover from a 3-1 loss at home to the New Jersey Devils, which has resulted in a season record of 27-30-8. Travis Konecny is the leading scorer for the Flyers, having amassed 64 points through 22 goals and 42 assists. Matvei Michkov contributes significantly as well, with 47 points from 20 goals and 27 assists. In terms of goaltending, Samuel Ersson has posted an 18-12-4 record, with a goals-against average of 2.97 and a save percentage of .889. Ivan Fedotov’s record stands at 5-10-3, with a GAA of 3.02 and a save percentage of .886, while Aleksei Kolosov has a record of 4-8-1, with a GAA of 3.45 and a save percentage of .870.

The Pick:

It has been widely acknowledged this season that the Senators have performed at their highest level when playing at home; however, they are currently securing victories. Conversely, the Flyers are experiencing a downward trend and are beginning to see their playoff aspirations diminish. I believe the Flyers will continue to face challenges in this matchup, allowing the Senators to achieve another victory. I am backing Ottawa in this instance.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs Carolina Hurricanes Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Lightning at Hurricanes at 7:30 PM ET

The Tampa Bay Lightning are experiencing their most successful stretch of the year, having achieved eight consecutive wins from early February through March 1. Throughout this winning streak, the Lightning successfully restricted their opponents to no more than three goals in each game. Nevertheless, they encountered two losses in their preceding four matches. The team lost to the Panthers, secured victories against the Blue Jackets and the Buffalo Sabres, but faced a 4-0 defeat at home against the Boston Bruins in their latest outing. Presently, the Lightning occupy the third spot in the Atlantic Division standings with a total of 78 points, trailing the Maple Leafs by three points and the Panthers by five. The Lightning average 3.54 goals scored per game, ranking second in the league, while their goals-against average stands at 2.67, placing them sixth.

In response to a 3-1 loss at home to the Oilers, the Carolina Hurricanes have achieved four straight victories. Throughout these matches, the Hurricanes restricted their opponents to no more than two goals, securing wins against the Flames, Red Wings, Bruins, and Jets. Carolina is currently engaged in a four-game homestand, which will culminate in a game against Detroit on Friday. The Hurricanes are positioned second in the Metropolitan Division standings with 80 points, six points clear of the Devils, and 12 points behind the division leaders, the Capitals. This season, the team averages 3.19 goals per game, ranking 11th, while allowing 2.70 goals per game, which places them 8th.

The Pick:

The two teams have faced each other twice this season, with the Bolts emerging victorious in both encounters. Each of those matches resulted in a total of five goals, and I anticipate that Tuesday’s game will also not exceed five goals. Notably, only three out of the last ten head-to-head meetings have surpassed this total, which supports my decision to predict an Under outcome. Furthermore, both Tampa and Carolina boast top-10 defenses that have demonstrated strong performances in recent weeks. Go with Under.

Colorado Avalanche vs Minnesota Wild Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Avalanche at Wild at 8 PM ET

Following their game on Monday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, the Avalanche are expected to be fatigued. On Saturday, they faced the Toronto Maple Leafs, where they triumphed with a score of 7-4. Valeri Nichuskin was the standout performer, scoring three goals and providing one assist. The Avalanche’s offensive output averages 3.54 goals per game, whereas their defensive unit concedes an average of 2.95 goals.

In their most recent match against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Wild suffered a defeat with a score of 3-1. Although the Wild’s defense performed admirably in the initial stages of the game, the two goals conceded in the third period ultimately determined the outcome. Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury made 19 saves out of 21 shots faced. Throughout the season, the Wild’s offense has struggled with consistency, averaging a mere 2.76 goals per game.

The Pick:

The Wild have only netted one goal in each of their last two games, and it seems improbable that they will experience a scoring surge in this matchup, even against a team that is showing signs of fatigue. Gustavson is anticipated to have another standout game for the Wild, which will likely be the key factor in the outcome. The under has been successful in four of the Wild’s last five home games. This total is set too high. It is recommended to bet on the Under, expecting this trend to continue.

New York Rangers vs Winnipeg Jets Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Rangers at Jets at 8 PM ET

The New York Rangers approach this contest aiming to recover from a significant 7-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, which has resulted in a season record of 31-27-6. Artemi Panarin stands out with a team-leading 67 points, featuring 28 goals and 39 assists, while Alexis Lafreniere has accumulated 36 points, consisting of 14 goals and 22 assists. In net, Igor Shesterkin’s record is 21-21-4, with a goals-against average of 2.89 and a save percentage of .905. Jonathan Quick has achieved a record of 9-6-2, with a GAA of 3.14 and a save percentage of .896 this season. Furthermore, Louis Domingue has recorded a 1-0 record, boasting a GAA of 2.00 and a save percentage of .926.

The Winnipeg Jets enter this matchup seeking to recover from their recent 4-2 defeat against the Carolina Hurricanes, bringing their season record to 44-17-4. Kyle Connor is the team’s leading scorer, amassing 80 points through 33 goals and 47 assists. Nikolaj Ehlers follows with 56 points, which include 21 goals and 35 assists, while Mark Scheifele contributes significantly with 72 points, highlighted by a team-leading 35 goals and 37 assists. In net for Winnipeg, Connor Hellebuyck boasts a record of 37-9-3, accompanied by a 2.01 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage, whereas Eric Comrie holds a record of 7-8-1, with a 2.46 GAA and a .914 save percentage.

The Pick:

While the Jets have established themselves as one of the premier teams in the NHL this season, particularly on their home ice, it is important to recognize that the road team has emerged victorious in the last four contests between these two clubs. I am inclined to suggest that the New York Rangers may have the opportunity to seize a win against the Jets. Therefore, I am backing the New York Rangers, taking into account the advantageous odds.

Canadiens vs Canucks Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Canadiens at Canucks at 10 PM ET

The Montreal Canadiens’ current season record stands at 30-27-6, following a 1-0 loss to Calgary in their latest outing. Cole Caufield led the team with six shots on goal, and goaltender Dobes performed admirably, saving 23 of the 24 shots he encountered during the contest.

This season, the Vancouver Canucks have achieved a record of 29-23-11, having suffered a 4-1 loss to Dallas in their most recent game. The only goal for Vancouver was scored by Forbort, and Lankinen recorded 15 saves out of 18 shots faced in the defeat.

The Pick:

This year, Vancouver has struggled significantly with scoring, and the lack of Quinn Hughes in the lineup is further complicating their offensive efforts. On the other hand, Montreal appears to be playing at a higher standard, showing resilience in their last two losses to the Flames and Oilers. While I remain apprehensive about Montreal’s goaltending, I am predicting that they will emerge victorious in this contest.

Washington Capitals vs Anaheim Ducks Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Capitals at Ducks at 10 PM ET

After enduring their longest losing streak of the season, comprising three games, the Washington Capitals have rebounded impressively with four straight wins against the Senators, Rangers, Red Wings, and Kraken. During these victories, the Capitals scored more than four goals in three instances and restricted their opponents to two goals in three of the matches. Presently, the Capitals are at the forefront of the Metropolitan Division standings with 92 points, which is 12 points ahead of the Carolina Hurricanes. This season, they boast an average of 3.61 goals per game, the highest in the league, while allowing an average of 2.56 goals per game, ranking third.

The Anaheim Ducks enjoyed their most successful stretch of the season in February, achieving four consecutive victories. However, they have since faced challenges, suffering five losses in their last eight matches. This upcoming game against Washington will conclude their three-game homestand. The Ducks began this stretch with a narrow 4-3 defeat to the Blues, followed by a solid 4-1 win against the Islanders. Currently, the Ducks are positioned 6th in the Pacific Division standings, accumulating 63 points, which places them six points behind the Canucks and 19 points behind the leading Golden Knights. On average, the Ducks score 2.63 goals per game, ranking them 30th in the league, while they allow 3.03 goals per game, placing them 20th.

The Pick:

I am dissatisfied with the low odds offered for the Capitals and do not intend to back them on the puck line. I foresee a significant number of goals being scored, especially by the Capitals, who boast the top offense in the NHL. In their last four away matches, Washington has scored a total of 15 goals. Although I would welcome a couple of goals from the Ducks, my confidence remains firmly with the visitors and their scoring ability. I suggest opting for the Over.

Nashville Predators vs San Jose Sharks Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Predators at Sharks at 10:30 PM ET

The Nashville Predators triumphed over the Kraken and the Blackhawks in recent matchups. The team is averaging 2.63 goals per game and achieving a 20 percent success rate on power play opportunities. Filip Forsberg stands out as the top scorer for Nashville with 24 goals, while Roman Josi has provided 29 assists. Additionally, Jonathan Marchessault has amassed 183 shots on goal. On the defensive front, Juuse Saros has conceded 134 goals from 1,297 shots, and Justus Annunen has allowed 40 goals on 390 shots.

The San Jose Sharks suffered defeats to the Colorado Avalanche and the New York Islanders. The team is currently averaging 2.62 goals per game and is successful on 20 percent of their power play attempts. Tyler Toffoli leads the Sharks with 24 goals, while Mikael Granlund has tallied 34 assists, and Macklin Celebrini has amassed 186 shots on goal. In terms of goaltending statistics, Alexandar Georgiev has allowed 73 goals on 587 shots faced, while Vitek Vanecek has given up 63 goals on 533 shots.

The Pick:

The Predators have recorded 12 consecutive victories over the Sharks, who have not triumphed against them since October 2019. In light of this information, the current betting line appears quite steep for a Predators team that lacks incentive at this juncture and has a dismal away record of 7-20-4. This is particularly significant as it is the first time since February 7 that the Predators have been favored in an away game. Although I am not particularly eager to back the Sharks, if I were compelled to make a choice for this matchup, I would opt for the underdog with the potential for a favorable return.

New York Islanders vs Los Angeles Kings Prediction 3/11/25 NHL Picks

Islanders at Kings at 10:30 PM ET

The New York Islanders secured a victory against the Sharks but suffered a defeat to the Ducks. Currently, the Islanders are averaging 2.71 goals per game and converting 12.6 percent of their power play chances. Anders Lee is the team’s leading scorer with 24 goals, while Bo Horvat contributes with 23 assists, and Brock Nelson has recorded 162 shots on goal. In terms of goaltending, Semyon Varlamov has conceded 29 goals from 262 shots, whereas Ilya Sorokin has allowed 124 goals from 1,308 shots faced.

The Los Angeles Kings achieved victories against the Blues and the Golden Knights. They are averaging 2.84 goals per game and have a power play success rate of 15.4 percent. Adrian Kempe stands out as the top scorer for the Kings with 27 goals, while Anze Kopitar has contributed 35 assists, and Kevin Fiala has taken 181 shots on goal. In goal, Darcy Kuemper has given up 81 goals on 917 shots, while David Rittich has allowed 71 goals on 618 shots faced.

The Pick:

Following an outstanding road victory against Vegas, in which 11 goals were scored collectively, the Kings return to their home venue, where they hold an impressive record of 20-3-4 this season. Considering the Kings’ home dominance and the Islanders’ erratic performance throughout the year, it is challenging to wager against Los Angeles in this scenario. I will back the Kings and, of course, I will opt for the puck line to lower the price.
