However, let’s not act like the Reds are world beaters and this will be a homecoming for Mahle, as he was drafted by the Reds and spent his first several seasons with the franchise. I’m sure this start means a little more to Mahle and he’ll want to leave with a victory. The jury is still out on Lowder, who has just 9 career starts. Pick a price, and I’ll give the edge to the Giants, but there are probably better options out there.
