The Los Angeles Angels and the Seattle Mariners will meet on Thursday night in the final game of a three‑game American League West series at T‑Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington.

Los Angeles Angels Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Angels enter Thursday’s contest with a 36–51 overall record (5th in the American League West) and an abysmal 15–29 mark on the road. The Angels offense has been inconsistent to this point in the season. Through 87 games played in 2026, Los Angeles has compiled 391 runs scored, 137 doubles, 101 home runs (16th in MLB) and a .240 team batting average which ranks a rather low 20th in Major League Baseball.

The Angels arrive at tomorrow’s game in below average form. Los Angeles has lost three of the team’s last five games played this season, including a 6–2 loss to the Seattle Mariners two days ago.

Los Angeles will turn to right hander Walbert Urena in this contest. In thirteen starts made this season, Urena has compiled a 5-6 win‑loss record, a 3.14 ERA, a 1.34 WHIP and 69 strikeouts, while allowing 59 hits and 37 walks in 71.2 innings pitched. Walbert Urena struggled in his most recent outing, allowing seven earned runs across 4.1 innings pitched, in the Athletics 9-3 defeat of the Los Angeles Angels last month. Urena will look to rebound from his recent poor performance in tomorrow’s matchup with the Seattle Mariners.

The Los Angeles Angels lineup features Jo Adell and Mike Trout. Jo Adell enters this matchup with a .246 batting average, 11 home runs, 15 doubles, 10 walks, 45 RBIs and a .684 OPS. Outfielder Mike Trout has amassed 17 home runs (25th in MLB), 12 doubles, 66 walks, 36 RBIs and an .866 OPS.

Seattle Mariners Betting Preview

The Seattle Mariners enter Thursday night’s matchup with a 44–43 overall record (2nd in the American League West) and a 24–19 mark at home. Seattle has played competitive baseball recently, winning three of the team’s last five games, including a 3-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians last week.

Seattle will start right hander Bryce Miller in tomorrow’s game. In eight starts made this season, Miller has compiled a 3-2 record, a 1.97 ERA, a 0.72 WHIP and 54 strikeouts, while allowing 28 hits and 5 walks in 45.2 innings pitched. Miller arrives at this contest in good form, allowing two or fewer earned runs in seven of his eight starts made in 2026.

Turning our attention to the Seattle offense, the Mariners lineup features outfielder Julio Rodriguez and first baseman Josh Naylor. Rodriguez has amassed a .259 batting average, 14 home runs, 28 walks, 40 RBIs and a .745 OPS. Naylor has compiled a .257 batting average, 8 home runs, 11 doubles, 27 walks, 34 RBIs and a .689 OPS.

Why the Los Angeles Angels will win.

• Offensive upside. Mike Trout and Jo Adell continue to anchor the Los Angeles Angels lineup.

• Motivation factor. The Los Angeles Angels have lost three of the team’s last five games.

Why the Seattle Mariners will win.

• Starting pitching advantage. In eight starts made this season, Bryce Miller has compiled a 3-2 record, a 1.97 ERA, a 0.72 WHIP and 54 strikeouts, while allowing 28 hits and 5 walks in 45.2 innings pitched.

• Home field edge. Seattle has played competitive baseball at home amassing a 24-19 record this season.

• Offensive production. Julio Rodríguez and Josh Naylor provide a strong core to the Mariners lineup.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Seattle Mariners Prediction

In my view, this matchup favors the Seattle Mariners. Why? Seattle starting pitcher Bryce Miller arrives at this contest in good form, allowing two or fewer earned runs in seven of his eight starts made in 2026. Conversely, Los Angeles hurler Walbert Urena struggled in his most recent outing, allowing seven earned runs across 4.1 innings pitched, in the Athletics 9-3 defeat of the Los Angeles Angels last month. With that said, the Mariners are the side to be in in this one. I am backing the Seattle Mariners on the moneyline in this game.
