Chicago starting pitcher starting pitcher Davis Martin has pitched exceptionally well this season compiling a 9-2 win-loss record, a 2.41 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP and 79 strikeouts, while New York hurler Gerrit Cole has been far more inconsistent which is a concern facing a strong Chicago White Sox lineup. For the reasons just noted, I am backing the Chicago White Sox plus the 1.5 runs in this game.
