Eastern Michigan vs Western Michigan Prediction
I’ll lean toward Western Michigan but I could probably go either way. The Broncos are sitting on a dismal losing streak right now, capped by a loss to a struggling Central Michigan squad. Western Michigan notched just 184 yards (134 passing), 10 first downs, and a 2-of-10 run on third-down tries in that one. That makes just 27 points combined over the last two games for WMU, and that’s not going to cut it here.
As for Eastern Michigan, they had 445 yards (375 passing) and 20 first downs in their loss to Buffalo. The Eagles also had three interceptions and nine penalties, however. Eastern Michigan has been outscored 72-30 over their last two outings and could use a good showing here as well. Ultimately I like the Broncos a little better cover-wise, but it’s a coin flip. Should be a competitive game at least.
