Vanderbilt Commodores Betting Preview
This year the Commodores kicked things off with a 2-2 run, falling to Georgia State and Missouri in that time. Vanderbilt hit a winning streak versus Alabama, Kentucky, and Ball State before another loss to Texas and a win over Auburn.
The Commodores fell back into the loss column against South Carolina in their last outing on November 9. Vanderbilt was outscored 21-7 in the second half during a 28-7 result. Diego Pavia threw for 166 yards in the defeat and also led the rush with 65 yards and a score.
LSU Tigers Betting Preview
Over on the Tigers’ side, they lost their opener versus USC, then took out Nicholls, South Carolina, UCLA, South Alabama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas in succession. LSU would fall in their next pair however, losing to Texas A&M 38-23 and Alabama 42-13.
Matched up against Florida last weekend, LSU gave up points in every quarter, getting outscored 14-3 in the fourth during a 27-16 loss. QB Garrett Nussmeier finished with 260 yards and a TD. Aaron Anderson caught seven balls for 72 yards and a score to lead the receivers.

Vanderbilt vs LSU Prediction
I’ll probably just stick with LSU. The Tigers need to get over their stunner loss to Florida quickly, though. LSU mustered 392 yards (262 passing) and 25 first downs in that one but maintained a tepid 4.3 yards per play and allowed seven sacks. The Tigers have hit the skids in some tough matchups over three straight losses, scoring fewer than 17 points in each of the last two.
Over on the Vanderbilt side, they mustered a tepid 274 yards (108 rushing) and 4.6 yards per play in their latest loss to South Carolina. The Commodores gave up 452 yards (214 rushing), 7.2 yards per play, 25 first downs, and a 9-of-12 success rate on third-down conversions on the other side. Vanderbilt has just 24 combined points over their last two games, and they’re probably going to have major issues scoring here as well.
