Michigan State Spartans Betting Preview
The Spartans got off to a nice start this year, taking wins in their first three games. Those came 16-10 versus Florida Atlantic, 27-24 over Maryland, and 40-0 against Prairie View. Game four was a loss 23-19 to Boston College.
Last weekend versus Ohio State, Michigan State gave up 21 points in the second quarter on the way to a 38-7 blowout loss. Aidan Chiles logged 167 yards passing with one TD and one interception. Jaron Glover was the leading receiver with 53 yards and a score.
Oregon Ducks Betting Preview
Over on the Ducks’ side, they managed a 24-14 win over Idaho in their August 31 opener. Oregon barely escaped Boise State 37-34 the next week, but didn’t have too many issues with Oregon State in a 49-14 win.
In the UCLA game, Oregon didn’t have too many issues. The Ducks were up 28-10 by the end of the first half and eventually won 34-13. QB Dillon Gabriel finished with 278 yards, three TDs, and one pick. Tez Johnson caught 11 balls for 121 yards and a pair of scores.

Michigan State vs Oregon Prediction
I’ll stick with Oregon, even considering the hefty line. The Ducks had a fairly quiet second half on the scoreboard in their win over UCLA but with the defense humming it hardly mattered. Oregon gave up just 172 total yards (125 passing), 11 first downs, and 1-of-10 on third-down conversions. On offense, the Ducks posted 431 yards (278 passing) and 27 first downs in a pretty good all-around display.
As for Michigan State, they were only able to notch 246 yards (199 passing), 13 first downs, three turnovers, and 24:17 in time of possession against a great Ohio State team over the weekend. Oregon will be a tough customer as well, and I don’t see the Spartans getting too close here.
