Eastern Washington kicked off their 2024 campaign with a matchup versus Monmouth. The Eagles didn’t have a ton of trouble with that one, winning 42-27 in the end. In game two versus Drake, Eastern Washington took their first loss, a 35-32 result in overtime.

I’ll probably stick with Nevada. This doesn’t seem like one to mess with, though. The Wolf Pack played an ugly game versus Minnesota last weekend, notching just 172 total yards (58 rushing), 3.2 yards per play, 11 first downs, three picks, and eight penalties for 89 total yards. All things considered, the defense wasn’t horrendous with 386 yards allowed—but the 195 rush yards were pretty hefty.

Nevada should match up much better with Eastern Washington. The Eagles have scored pretty well so far this year though; 24 or more points in every game. Nevada needs to get the ball moving here and find some semblance of offense.
