I’m on the Mystics here. I think it’s really important to not overreact to one result, but there were a couple of opening night performances for a couple of teams in the WNBA that might set the tone for me for the rest of the season and one was Golden State. This was not how you draft an expansion team in my opinion as I think this could be one of the worst expansion rosters in WNBA history. There’s a very good chance that we see Golden State picking first overall in next year’s draft. The Mystics were a great cover team in the underdog role after a horrible start last year, but it looks like they’re off to a strong start and don’t really show any signs of letting up either. Give me the Mystics in this one.
