Coco Gauff delivered a near-perfect performance as she dispatched fellow American Iva Jovic to reach the quarterfinal of the US Open. The match took 17 games to decide. Gauff powered past Jovic 6-1, 6-4 in an hour and 33 minutes. In the victory, Gauff hit 18 winners and committed 15 unforced errors. Gauff tallied 2 aces and 2 double faults.
