Clara Tauson is the third seed at the Korea Open in Seoul and only needed to win one match to reach the quarterfinal stage. Tauson beat Germany’s Eva Lys in straight sets. The match took 21 games to decide. Tauson prevailed 6-2, 7-6 in an hour and 40 minutes. Tauson served for the match twice in the second set, but needed a tie-break to close out the victory.
