The Anaheim Ducks and the Vegas Golden Knights meet Friday in NHL action from the T-Mobile Arena. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s an Anaheim Ducks vs. Vegas Golden Knights prediction.

Anaheim Ducks Team Preview

The Anaheim Ducks enter the 2026-27 season looking to build on a massive breakout campaign after finishing 3rd in the Pacific Division with a 43-33-6 record and securing their first playoff appearance in eight years. Dynamic sophomore sniper Cutter Gauthier leads the charge upfront coming off an explosive 41-goal rookie season alongside top franchise center Leo Carlsson, though Anaheim opens the campaign with star winger Troy Terry starting on long-term injured reserve following hip surgery. Over the summer, the Ducks overhauled their blue line depth by bringing in veteran defenseman Nick Jensen alongside bottom-six addition A.J. Greer in free agency, while parting ways with veteran captain Radko Gudas. The defensive corps is led by young pillars Pavel Mintyukov and Jackson LaCombe, who insulate a strong goaltending crease anchored by proven starter Lukas Dostal coming off a career-high 30 wins. With young prospects like Beckett Sennecke and Tristan Luneau continuing to push into the main squad, Anaheim has established itself as an emerging, competitive force in the Pacific Division.

Anaheim Ducks vs. Vegas Golden Knights Prediction

I’m on Anaheim in this one. I wouldn’t be opposed to anyone taking the Golden Knights as Vegas at home has been one of the NHL’s constants since joining the league over a decade ago. However, the Ducks have playoff revenge on the brain, and last year swept the regular season series with Vegas before Vegas got their get back on Anaheim in the playoffs. I think the Ducks come out and get some revenge to start the year and I’ll take a shot on the Ducks with plus money.

Chris Ruffolo's Pick: Anaheim +165
