Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
The Steelers kicked off their season with a narrow escape on the road versus the lowly New York Jets, winning 34-32 in the end. Game two was a loss 31-17 to the Seattle Seahawks, then came a couple of wins over the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings. In the game four win, Pittsburgh posted 313 yards on offense and went a tepid 4-of-10 on third-down tries. The defense gave up 302 passing yards but held Minnesota to just 4-of-14 on third downs and had a couple of interceptions in the victory.
Last weekend versus the Cleveland Browns, the Steelers managed to score in every quarter, holding the opposition to a trio of field goals in a 23-9 win at home. QB Aaron Rodgers logged a 21-of-30 line for 235 yards and two scores, while Jaylen Warren had 11 totes for 52 yards as the team’s top rusher. Lead receiver DK Metcalf had four catches for 95 yards and a TD as well.
Cincinnati Bengals Betting Preview
Over on the Bengals’ side, they eked out a win over the Cleveland Browns in the opener, then got past the Jacksonville Jaguars in a tight home outing. Cincinnati took losses in the next three weeks however, falling versus the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions. In the loss to Detroit, Cincinnati went just 4-of-11 on third-down tries and had three interceptions. The defense gave up 365 yards and 23 first downs on the other side as well.
Matched up against the Green Bay Packers last weekend, Cincinnati was down 10-0 by the end of the first half. The Bengals made a run at a comeback in the second but ended up losing 27-18 in the end. QB Joe Flacco was 29-of-45 for 219 yards and two scores while Chase Brown was the leading team rusher on 42 yards from nine carries. Ja’Marr chase caught 10 balls for 94 yards and a touchdown in the losing effort as well.

Steelers vs Bengals Prediction
I’ll lean toward Pittsburgh. The Steelers put together a pretty good overall day at home against Cleveland last weekend—despite going just 5-of-13 on third downs and committing 10 penalties along the way. The defense did a nice job with 248 yards (183 passing) and 3.3 yards per play allowed, which really helped drive the victory. Pittsburgh is cooking right now with three straight wins, but they’ve only gotten past 24 points once so far this year (34 in the opener versus the lowly Jets).
As for the Bengals, they didn’t have a ton of life on offense in their loss to Green Bay last weekend. Cincinnati gathered up 268 yards total (213 passing) with 4.3 yards per play and 6-of-15 on third downs. The defense surrendered 409 total yards with 6.8 yards per play and 24 first downs on the other side. Cincinnati has been below 19 points in four of six games so far this year, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a competitive rivalry game here. Games between these two squads are usually very interesting, so it’ll be a fun one to watch. I still like the Steelers better cover-wise, though.
