Give me Minnesota. The Vikings are coming off a big win over the rival Bears on the road last weekend, and it was a great defensive outing. That unit came up with two takeaways while giving up 297 yards (163 passing), 17 first downs and 5-of-15 on third-down tries. The offense was pretty stagnant most of the day though, accounting for just 11 first downs and a 3-of-13 success rate on third downs. Still, a divisional road win is a divisional road win.
As for the Bucs, they didn’t play too badly on defense in their loss to the Browns, with just 15 first downs and 5-of-13 on third downs allowed. There were no takeaways though, and the offense wasn’t exactly explosive either on a tepid 176 pass yards and 17 first downs. This one’s not going to get a whole lot easier, but at least it’s at home again.
