Los Angeles Chargers Betting Preview
The Chargers were able to open the season with three straight wins, taking out the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos in succession. After losses to the Giants and Commanders, LA beat the Dolphins before falling at home versus the Indianapolis Colts. In that matchup the Chargers posted 445 total yards, 391 pass yards, 6.0 yards per play and 25 first downs but also had a couple of interceptions along the way.
In their matchup with the Minnesota Vikings last weekend, the Chargers were in the driver’s seat by halftime with a 21-3 advantage. After scoring in all four quarters LA ended up with a smooth 37-10 blowout win. QB Justin Herbert finished with an 18-of-25 line for 227 yards, three scores and a pick while Kimani Vidal had 23 carries for 117 yards and a TD as the team’s top rusher. Ladd McConkey added six catches for 88 yards and a TD in the winning effort.
Tennessee Titans Betting Preview
Over on the Titans’ side, they’ve had quite the rough season so far—to put it mildly. Tennessee opened up with a four-game losing streak versus the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans, then took a 22-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals for their first victory of the year. Losses to the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots ensued in the next two outings, though. In the loss to the Pats, the Titans gained just 255 total yards, 39 rush yards, 16 first downs and 3-of-10 on third-down tries alongside two turnovers.
On Sunday in their road matchup versus the Indianapolis Colts, the Titans went into the third quarter facing a 17-7 deficit. Tennessee was outscored 21-7 from there in a 38-14 blowout loss. QB Cameron Ward was 22-of-38 for 259 yards, one TD and one interception, and leading rusher Tyjae Spears carried nine times for 59 yards and a TD. Chimere Dike was the leading receiver with seven catches for 93 yards in the losing road effort.

Chargers vs Titans Prediction
I’m staying with LA. The Chargers really needed a good showing at home last weekend versus the Vikings—and they got it. Los Angeles managed 419 yards, 207 rush yards, 29 first downs, 6.0 yards per play and a nice 9-of-13 on third-down tries in the victory. The defense was great too, giving up just 164 total yards, 3.5 yards per play, 12 first downs and 3-of-11 on third-down conversions. It should serve as a nice pick-me-up after falling in three of the previous four games. Another win over a struggling Tennessee team looks pretty likely.
As for the Titans, they’re coming off another rough effort on the road versus the Colts last weekend. Tennessee gave up 420 total yards in that one with 21 first downs and 8.1 yards per play. The offense managed 341 yards themselves with 20 first downs and 5.1 yards per play on average. Tennessee has posted 14 or fewer points in each installment of this current three-game losing streak, so I’m not confident they can keep up with anyone these days.
