In the first game against the Dallas Cowboys, they were able to secure the 13-12 victory, and in the last game against the Los Angeles Chargers, they were able to secure the 13-9 victory. Stetson Bennett played the entire game and completed 17 of his 31 passes for 213 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The running game was also strong, and they are going to need a strong running game again here. Zach Evans rushed 16 times for 62 yards. Boston Scott also rushed 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Whittington caught five passes for 52 yards. In this game, Stetson and the quarterback play is going to need to be good. 

Texans Have Played Well

The Texans have played well so far to start the preseason and they have won two straight games. In the first game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, they were able to win 20-12  and in the last game against the New York Giants they were able to secure a 28-10 victory. In the last game, CJ Stroud completed 7 of his 10 passes for 88 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Tim Boyle completed 10 of his 15 passes for 94 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. J.J. Taylor was the top rusher rushing five times for 36 yards. The Texans’ defense is going to need to be good in this game because chances are the Rams’ defense will step up against their offense.

This game is going to be a good defensive battle and both offenses are going to have some major issues. The Rams defense has really stepped up so far during the preseason and even against a good offensive team they are going to really step up. Look for some bad quarterback play from both sides and that is going to be the difference as this game is going to end up staying under the total.
