Cincinnati Bengals Betting Preview
The Bengals have had some down notes on the schedule this year but they’re still on the right side of the .500 mark. Cincinnati beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Houston Texans in their first two outings then fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars in the next pair. After a win over the Dolphins, the Bengals are now sitting at 3-2 overall through five.
In the Miami game on October 11, the Bengals were able to put up a couple of second-quarter touchdowns for a 21-7 halftime lead. Cincinnati added another 10 points from there and held on for the victory 31-24 on the road. QB Joe Burrow was 23-of-32 for 190 yards and four scores. Ja’Marr Chase caught six balls for 77 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview
Over on the Ravens’ side, they’ve been pretty solid overall this year with a couple of close calls. Baltimore beat the Indianapolis Colts in the opener then took their first loss to the Saints in game two. The Ravens rallied from there with victories over the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons in succession. Over the first five games the Ravens were 4-1.
Matched up against the Browns last weekend the Ravens were able to build up a 10-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. Unfortunately, that’s the last time Baltimore visited the scoreboard. After a TD and a couple field goals from the Browns, the Ravens had a 13-10 loss. QB Tyler Huntley was 19-of-31 for 165 yards and a score. Derrick Henry had 17 carries for 58 yards.

Bengals vs Ravens Prediction
I’ll take a stab on the Bengals here, though I wish the line were a little thicker. Cincinnati was able to power past a struggling Dolphins team in their last outing, bagging 307 total yards and 22 first downs along the way. The defense generated three takeaways but did get a little generous on third downs (7-of-13) and gave up 23 first downs. Still, Cincinnati has at least been competitive this year. Their two losses have come by a combined eight points.
As for Baltimore, they had a pretty rough offensive game in the loss to Cleveland and couldn’t get much going after the first quarter. The Ravens would finish with just 13 first downs and 235 total yards, however the defense kept the team in the game the whole way. This matchup starts a tricky stretch for Baltimore. They’ve got Cincinnati, at Buffalo, Jacksonville and a Monday night game versus the Chargers in the next quartet.
