Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

Buffalo took on the Arizona Cardinals in their opener. The Bills scored 24 second-half points in that one and notched the comeback win 34-28. In week two versus the Miami Dolphins, it was another Buffalo victory, this time 31-10.

On Monday versus the Jaguars, Buffalo didn’t have much trouble at all. The Bills jumped out to a 34-3 halftime lead and cruised to the blowout win 47-10. Josh Allen threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns. Khalil Shakir caught six balls for 72 yards and a score to lead the receivers.

Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview

Over on the Ravens’ side, they opened things up against the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. Baltimore was in it the whole time but eventually lost 27-20. In game two versus the Raiders, the Ravens took another loss 26-23 in a frustrating outcome.

Matched up against the Cowboys on Sunday the Ravens held a 28-6 lead after three quarters but had to hold on for the win 28-25 after 19 unanswered points. Lamar Jackson had 182 pass yards and a TD (with another rush score) and Derrick Henry led the rush with 151 yards and two touchdowns.

Buffalo Bills vs Baltimore Ravens Prediction

I’m taking Buffalo I suppose. On Monday the Bills demolished Jacksonville, holding the Jags to just 239 yards (147 passing), 19 first downs, and 2-of-13 on third-down tries. Buffalo also came up with two takeaways and held the opposition to just 3.5 yards per play. On offense, the Bills notched 389 total yards (266 passing) with 24 first downs in a pretty impressive display overall.

As for the Ravens, they had a pretty wild game against the Cowboys last weekend to notch their first victory of the season. Baltimore posted 456 total yards (274 rushing) and zero turnovers but also committed 13 penalties for 105 yards. Defensively the Ravens gave up 361 yards passing, which makes sense as Dallas was playing from behind for most of the game. Buffalo should be able to contain the Ravens well enough for a cover (or maybe a win) here so long as the Bills play to their capabilities. It’ll be a fun matchup, though.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Buffalo Bills +2.5
