49ers Look to Build on Last Game
The 49ers faced off against the New Orleans Saints in the last game, and they were able to secure a 16-10 victory. In the first game against the Tennessee Titans, they were defeated 17-13. Against the 49ers, they were led by Joshua Dobbs, who completed 12 of his 21 passes for 133 yards. Brandon Allen, Tanner Mordecai, and Brock Purdy also all played under center. Dobbs also rushed three times for 25 yards and a touchdown. Matt Breida also rushed seven times for 24 yards. In this game, the 49ers need a more balanced attack with the running game. The defense also needs to try and create a turnover or two.
Raiders are Struggling
The Raiders have struggled so far in the preseason, and now there has to be some concern heading into the regular season. In the first game, the Raiders were knocked off by the Minnesota Vikings 24-23 and in the last game against the Dallas Cowboys, they were defeated 27-12. The Raiders did name Gardner Mindhsaw the starting quarterback, so they have at least seen enough out of him to secure the job. Aidan O’Connell completed 14 of his 20 passes for 96 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the last game. Gardner Minshew completed 10 of his 21 passes for 95 yards. Since Minshew won the job, it wouldn’t be shocking if he didn’t play a whole lot in this game.
San Francisco 49ers vs Las Vegas Raiders Prediction
I really am not sold on either of these offenses finding success. The 49ers in the first couple of games haven't been exactly running up the score. I don’t trust the Raiders quarterback played, especially if Gardner Minshew isn’t played in this game. Look for bad quarterback play all around, and neither team is going to reach 17 points, and this game is going to stay under the total. Back the under to cash here with ease.
