Utah Jazz Betting Preview
The Utah Jazz have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 18 of their last 22 games overall and they will be looking to avoid a third straight defeat after falling short to the Magic in a 120-117 loss on Saturday. Lauri Markkanen led the team with 27 points on 12 of 21 shooting, Jaren Jackson Jr added 22 points on nine of 17 shooting while Isaiah Collier chipped in with 20 points and 10 assists off the bench. As a team, the Jazz shot 48 percent from the field and 10 of 31 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with a 35-21 second quarter to open up a 17-point lead, but they couldn’t hold off the Magic who scored the final five points to snatch the game away.
Miami Heat Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in decent form as they’ve won five of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the Wizards in a 132-101 road win last night. Bam Adebayo led all starters with 22 points, eight rebounds and five steals, Kasparas Jakucionis added 22 points on eight of 10 shooting off the bench while Norman Powell chipped in with 21 points. As a team, the Heat shot 47 percent from the field and 21 of 47 from the 3-point line as they caught fire early and poured in 74 points in the first half to take a 22-point lead into halftime and they kept their foot on the gas right till the final buzzer to snap a two-game skid.
Utah v Miami Free Prediction
The Jazz are still missing Walker Kessler and they are keeping an eye on Keyonte George who might return for this one, while the Heat have ruled out Tyler Herro and Pelle Larsson with Norman Powell listed as day to day after leaving Sunday’s game with lower back tightness. These teams have already met earlier in the season with the Heat rolling to a 147-116 win back on Jan 24 and I expect to see a similar result. Maybe the Jazz won’t get blown out, but I expect a comfortable win and cover for the Heat despite this being their second game of a back to back set.
