After losing the first two games of the NBA Summer League, the Wizards were able to secure the victory. In the first game against the Houston Rockets they lost 109-91 and in the last game against the Portland Trail Blazers they were defeated 82-80. In the last game against the Sacramento Kings, the defense was elite giving up only 69 points and they ended up winning by four points. Jules Bernard had a strong game putting up 20 points, five rebounds, and two assists. There were three different players that put up at least 11 points. The defense was good, but the offfense still wasn’t good enough.
