The Chicago Bulls have been in a slump as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a four-game slide after getting trounced by the Nuggets in a 136-120 loss on Saturday. Matas Buzelis led the team with 21 points, eight rebounds and three assists, Collin Sexton added 17 points off the bench while Anfernee Simons and Nick Richards each scored 15 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 45 percent from the field and 20 of 51 from the 3-point line as they got off to a great start and it looked like they were in control after taking a nine-point lead in the third quarter. However, all their hard work went to waste in the fourth quarter where the Bulls got outscored by 39-16 to lose by double digits in the end.
Brooklyn Nets Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been ice-cold for a while now as they’ve lost 18 of their last 22 games overall, but they will be feeling much better after they snapped a three-game slide with a 127-113 win over the Wizards on Saturday. Michael Porter Jr led the team with 23 points on eight of 16 shooting, Day’Ron Sharpe added 19 points with nine rebounds and six assists on nine of 11 shooting, Noah Clowney scored 18 points while Danny Wolf chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Nets shot a healthy 55 percent from the field and 13 of 38 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 46 points in the first quarter to lead by as many as 34 points before they pulled all their starters early and allowed extra playing time to their reserves.

The Bulls have ruled out Josh Giddey, Zach Collins and Tre Jones with Jalen Smith listed as questionable, while the Nets are going to be without Egor Demin and Michael Porter Jr. You couldn’t back either side with any confidence as both teams have been struggling mightily lately. The Bulls looked like they were going to snap out of their funk on Saturday, but they still managed to get blown out despite leading for most of the game, while the Nets were ice-cold before they took down the lowly Wizards on Saturday, but they are missing their leading scorer in Porter Jr. This is a game I would rather stay away from, but I just don’t think the Nets have enough firepower to climb back into the contest if they fall into an early deficit, so I will lean towards the Bulls in this spot.
