San Diego Padres vs Chicago Cubs Prediction
I’m not thrilled to get behind Boyd, his 5.02 ERA and 1.36 WHIP, and he’s pitched just twice since May. However, Sears has just 5.2 innings under his belt this season, and it’s going to take time for him to find a rhythm. Also, the Cubs are simply playing the better baseball right now, as they’re 7-1 since June 21. Forget the pitching matchup for a second; I’ll side with the team that’s winning games consistently. The price is reasonable. Give me the Cubs.
