In my view, this matchup favors the Texas Rangers. Why? Texas starting pitcher MacKenzie Gore possesses the edge in both strikeout ability and overall upside. Gore has compiled 172 strikeouts this season and continues to miss bats at an elite rate. Conversely, Mets starter Sean Manaea has struggled recently, allowing four earned runs or more in five of his last seven starts made in 2026. With that said, I am backing the Texas Rangers on the moneyline in this game.
