New York Mets vs Cincinnati Reds Prediction
I’m not a fan of oepners, and I wouldn’t back Myers. He hasn’t pitched in a couple of weeks, and he’s allowed 17 hits and 10 runs in his last 14 innings. There’s also the fact that these are the Mets, one of the most disappointing teams in baseball. Burns looks like a Cy Young candidate with a 2.14 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and a .190 batting average allowed in 75.2 innings. Burns has allowed 2 or fewer earned runs in each of his last 10 starts. Because of the clear pitching edge and stability, I’m rolling with the Reds at home.
