Even though his ERA isn’t incredible, he’s been better as of late, and his strikeout stuff has been nasty. He’s logged 7+ strikeouts in 6 of his last 7 starts. He’s facing this Twins lineup that has just looked lethargic over the last month. I expect Flaherty to deal in this game and rack up the strikeouts.

Wacha has been in a great stretch over his last few starts, but I think it ends here against the Red Sox. The Red Sox are arguably the hottest team in the MLB right now. Boston has been very strong in Fenway as of late. This will be one of Wacha’s toughest starts this season, and I expect Boston to get after him early and often.

In his most recent performance, he pitched 6 shutout innings against the Rangers. We’ve seen him log 6+ K’s in 4 of his last 5 starts. I don’t think we see him slowing down in this one against the White Sox. Kirby has also been so dominant in T-Mobile Park for the last couple of seasons.
