Juan Soto has been one of the most electric hitters in baseball this season. Over 95 games, he’s slashed .256/.391/.504 with 24 home runs, 57 RBIs, and an .895 OPS, placing him among the top ten in both OPS and home runs league-wide. He averages 94.4 mph exit velocity, a 56% hard-hit rate, and a 17.9% barrel rate, leading to a sterling .382 wOBA and eye-catching .450 xwOBA, which reflect his high-quality contact and plate discipline. Soto has a great matchup in this one, going against Kyle Hendricks, who has just struggled to find consistency throughout this season. Soto will also get a go at the Angels bullpen, which ranks at the bottom in the MLB.

Teoscar Hernandez Over 1.5 Total Bases

Teoscar Hernández has featured in 77 games, totaling 293 at-bats, and slashed .250/.290/.461 for a .751 OPS, with 14 home runs, 57 RBIs, 42 runs scored, and 5 stolen bases. He averages an 89 mph exit velocity, with a 42 % hard-hit rate, 12.1 % barrel rate, and a .336 wOBA supported by a .354 xwOBA. This Dodgers lineup as a whole has been in a major slump for their last several series, but this is a great series for LA to bounce back. I’m targeting Hernandez in this one due to the odds we can get and his capabilities of going yard against a guy like Woods Richardson, who has struggled with some of the better lineups in the league.

In 99 games and 363 plate appearances, he’s hitting .251/.380/.559 with 32 homers, 74 RBIs, and a .940 OPS, ranking among the top five in both home runs and OPS league-wide. Statcast backs up the production: Schwarber carries a 94.2 mph average exit velocity, 58.8% hard-hit rate, and an 18.4% barrel rate. Schwarber has been specifically strong at the plate when playing in Philadelphia. He’ll be up against Fitts, who has been mediocre at best coming into this one with a 4.28 ERA. Schwarber has been a money maker for me this season, and I like him to continue that in this spot.
