The Chicago White Sox will try to salvage something from this series and avoid the sweep after falling short in a 3-2 loss in Tuesday’s matchup. Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers Prediction
I’m on the Rangers -1.5 here. I know the first couple of games in this series have been relatively tight, but the Rangers are the better team by a fair margin and Eovaldi’s clearly the better arm here. Flexen’s had a big issue with giving up runs on the road this season and overall as of late, while Eovaldi’s been money at home and I’m not holding one bad start against him against a Baltimore Orioles team that’s been crushing right handed pitching for the better part of the season. I just think this is a crucial series for the Texas Rangers and they complete the sweep over a White Sox team that already looks like they’ve mailed it in.
Chris’s Pick Texas -1.5
