I’m leaning towards the Angels here. I like JP Sears and the Angels haven’t been great against lefties, but Sears still has an ERA over five at home this season and I’m not trusting him as far as I can throw him as he’s not the cornerstone pitcher the A’s need. The Angels have had far more success offensively as of late, and I think Contreras will be on a short leash and once he leaves, he hands the ball off to an Angels’ bullpen that has been surprisingly effective as of late. Give me the Angels.
