Florida Gators Betting Preview
The Gators have played four games so far this year. First was a pretty easy home victory in the opener as Florida cruised to a 66-21 result over Florida Atlantic. The Gators continued to roll in game two versus Campbell, taking that one 52-3. The Auburn road matchup was much tougher but still a 44-39 win. Florida scored double-digit points in three of four quarters there.
Last weekend versus Ole Miss, the Gators were looking good by halftime sitting on a 17-6 lead. Florida gave up 15 points in the third quarter and a touchdown in the fourth, but kept it moving well enough to power out a nice 52-28 win in the end. QB Aaron Philo was 16-of-23 for 196 yards and a score. Jadan Baugh had 29 carries for 142 yards and three touchdowns.
Missouri Tigers Betting Preview
Over on the Missouri side, they stormed out of the gate with a big win at home versus an overmatched Arkansas-Pine Bluff team 54-14. Game two was another victory, this time on the road 38-21 versus Kansas. The Tigers were able to keep it going against Troy on September 19, scoring 24 points in the second quarter during a 27-17 win.
In game four versus Mississippi State, the Tigers gave up two touchdowns in the first quarter but responded with 10 points in the second. Missouri was up 24-17 after the third quarter but then gave up two more scores for a 31-24 loss in the end. QB Austin Simmons was 23-of-39 for 295 yards and three touchdowns. Jamal Roberts led the rush with 26 carries for 95 yards.

Florida vs Missouri Prediction
I’ll stick with Florida. That said, this could be a trap game coming off that big win. In the Ole Miss matchup, the Gators posted 498 yards, 302 rush yards, 27 first downs and a nice 6-of-10 on third-down tries. Florida gave up just 4-of-11 on third downs defensively alongside a couple of takeaways. It was a very nice effort on both sides of the ball, and Florida is rolling right along on four straight wins.
As for Missouri, they posted 414 yards with 23 first downs in their loss to a great Mississippi State team but couldn’t hold it together at the end. The Tigers committed eight penalties for 91 yards and the defense gave up 499 yards with 6.4 yards per play and 27 first downs. Still, Missouri gets credit for putting the Bulldogs on the ropes late in a tough road matchup. They could cause some troubles for Florida.
