I’ll probably stay with New Mexico. The Lobos are looking pretty good so far and shouldn’t have too many issues here. New Mexico posted 46.7 percent shooting from the field with 44 rebounds and 23 team assists in their latest win over Grambling. The 17-of-26 from the line (65.4 percent) and 16 turnovers need cleaning up, though. That makes 71 or more points in every game this year.

As for Texas Southern, they’ve failed to hit 70 points in three of their four losses this year and have given up 78 or more points in all four of those. The Tigers are going to have a hard time staying close on Sunday if they’re not playing near-perfect basketball—or benefitting from an unexpected New Mexico meltdown. That’s not likely to happen in the friendly confines of the Pit.
