I’ll stick with Lamar. The Cardinals started slowly versus a struggling Louisiana team in their latest outing, but to their credit Lamar pulled away and eventually posted a double-digit win. The Cardinals shot 45 percent from the field with a 34-29 rebounding edge and just eight turnovers. That said, Lamar also went just 15-of-24 (63 percent) from the line. The Cardinals have been below 69 points in three of the last four games, so it’d be nice to see them post a big total in this one.

As for the Islanders, they shot just 38.8 percent from the field and 55 percent (11-of-20) from the line in their latest loss to Xavier. Texas A&M-CC didn’t play too badly up front, but ultimately couldn’t keep up with the Musketeers on the scoreboard. I don’t think they’ll catch Lamar either.
