Saint Francis PA Red Flash Betting Preview

It’s been a tough year for the Red Flash so far, as they’re currently far below the .500 mark. St. Francis PA opened on a 4-6 run over their first 10 games, beating only Campbell, Penn State-Schuylkill, Lehigh, and Penn State-Shenango in that time. The Flash would lose five of their next six outings versus Niagara, Maryland, Robert Morris, Central Connecticut, and Stonehill. A 3-4 run came next with losses to Long Island U, Wagner (twice) and Mercyhurst. Following consecutive wins over Le Moyne and Chicago State, the Flash fell versus Stonehill and Central Connecticut. That gives St. Francis PA a 10-17 overall record through 27 games so far. 

In the Central Connecticut road rematch back on Saturday, the Flash were ahead by three points in the locker room. St. Francis PA finished on a 45-26 deficit though, eventually taking the sizable loss 83-67 in the end. Leading the team in scoring was Valentino Pinedo with 15 points and four rebounds. Daemar Kelly added 11 points with three rebounds and four assists, while Jeremy Clayville led the bench scoring with 11 points and one rebound in 19 minutes. 

Le Moyne Dolphins Betting Preview

Over on the Le Moyne side, they’ve had a pretty rough year as well with only a couple instances of consecutive victories. The Dolphins went 5-8 in their first 13 games, falling to CSU Northridge, Syracuse, UConn, St. Bonaventure, Texas A&M-CC, UTRGV, Army, and Binghamton. Le Moyne would only beat Mercyhurst and Stonehill amid losses to Notre Dame, Niagara, LIU, Fairleigh Dickinson, Chicago State, Central Connecticut, Fairleigh Dickinson, Wagner, St. Francis PA, and Mercyhurst after that. Following wins over Wagner and Chicago State, the Dolphins are sitting at 8-19 on the year through 27 games so far. 

Matched up against Chicago State in their Saturday outing, the Dolphins were down 31-27 in the locker room. Le Moyne rallied from there on a 53-44 stretch though, taking the win in the end 80-75. All five starters finished in double-figures, led by AJ Dancler’s 19 points, seven boards, and five assists. Dwayne Koroma doubled up with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Deng Garang had 15 points with three assists in 30 minutes. 

Saint Francis PA vs Le Moyne Prediction 

I’ll lean toward St. Francis PA. There’s not a lot to get excited about here if you’re not a fan of either team, though. The Flash lost to a pretty good Central Connecticut team in their last outing, giving up 53.3 percent shooting with a 34-27 rebounding deficit and 10 turnovers for 19 Devils points. The 67-point total broke a string of three straight games with 74 or more points for the Red Flash as well. 

The good news is that St. Francis PA won 86-78 at home the last time these teams met up on February 6. Both teams shot well (above 48 percent) in that one but it was a sloppy overall game. The Flash posted 18 turnovers for 13 Dolphins points, so they’ll really need to focus on ball control in the rematch.
