Southern vs TCU Prediction

I’ll stick with TCU. The Frogs didn’t have a whole lot of problems with Lindenwood in their opener this week. TCU notched 47 percent shooting from the field, 53 percent (10-of-19) from outside and 74 percent (28-of-38) from the line. The Frogs won the rebounding battle 46-37 and took full advantage of the Lions’ 20 turnovers. Friday’s matchup should be another very manageable one for the Frogs, especially if they can shoot as well as they did Monday.

As for Southern, they only got a combined seven points from the four starters not named Justin Page during their Monday loss to SMU. The Jaguars had to try a lot of different combinations on the floor and never really got their footing. That said, it was a tricky matchup and Southern actually shot pretty well from the field (44 percent), outside (38 percent on 8-of-21) and the line (80 percent on 12-of-15). I still think they’re quite overmatched for game two, though.
