It’s been a strong start for UMBC and they are coming off a victory in the last game. UMBC has won three of their first four games and the only loss came against Penn State. In the last game against Coppin State, UMBC scored 92 points and the defense gave up only 67 points, and that led to the easy victory. With the blowout, they had plenty of time for some of the young guys to get some run. Bryce Johnson had a strong game putting up 18 points and and four rebounds. There were four different players that put up at least 11 points. In this game, the UMBC offense is going to need to be strong early.
