Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks Betting Preview
The Hawks were busy last week, as they’ve got three games in the books already. the First came last Monday versus Georgia Tech. Maryland Eastern Shore scored just 18 points in the first half but only trailed by three points. After a comeback in the second half, the Hawks eventually lost in overtime 56-52. Leading the team in scoring was Joseph Locandro with 17 points and five rebounds. The only other team player to finish in double-figures was Justin Monden with 10 points and four rebounds. In game two versus Georgia on Wednesday, Maryland Eastern Shore got demolished. The Hawks were down 43-17 by the break and scored just 12 points from there in a rough 94-29 road blowout loss. Nobody made it to double-figures this time; in fact, Trey Brown was the team’s top scorer with six points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes of work on the floor during the losing effort for the Hawks.
In game three versus Cheyney on Saturday, the Hawks got back into the win column in a big way. Maryland Eastern Shore took a 43-26 edge into the second half then hit a 61-33 run from there in a 104-59 win in the end. Tops in scoring was Zion Obanla with 17 points and four boards in 19 minutes. Both Jaden Cooper (three assists; two rebounds) and Dorion Staples (three rebounds) had 13 points apiece in the winning effort for MD Eastern Shore as well.

Maryland Eastern Shore vs Nebraska Prediction
I might take a stab on MD Eastern Shore here. Probably staying away, though. The Hawks have one blowout loss, one close loss and one blowout win in their stable so far this year. They’re coming off the blowout win, posting a ridiculous 78.8 percent shooting versus an overmatched Cheyney team. The Hawks will want a lower-scoring game here though, similar to the Georgia Tech opener.
As for Nebraska, they haven’t really been challenged yet. The Cornhuskers shot 55.2 percent versus FIU but did get outmuscled on the boards (37-35) and in the paint (38-34) during their 30-point victory. With a little defense I think the Hawks can get in there for a cover.
