Leading up to the 68 points in that loss, Iona had scored 75 or more points in their other eight games.

As for Sacred Heart, they did a pretty good job against a struggling Mount St. Mary’s team in their latest road win, outside of the 50 percent shooting surrendered on defense that is. The Pioneers shot 44 percent from the field themselves with a 38-29 rebounding edge and 24-of-28 (86 percent) from the line, but did get outscored in the paint 40-22. Sacred Heart has 79 or more points in three of the last four games (a 2-2 run with an overtime loss) but they’ve been giving up a lot on the other side as well.
