The good news is that Saint Peter’s had a 40-18 advantage in the paint, a 32-25 rebounding edge and just six turnovers. The Peacocks are still 2-1 in the last three games with 70 or more points scored in each of those.

These teams last saw each other back on December 29 in a 70-66 victory on the road for the Peacocks. In that one Saint Peter’s shot just 40 percent from the field and 23.8 percent (5-of-21) from 3-point range but added a 43-33 rebounding edge and a 46-32 advantage on points in the paint. The 40.4 percent shooting allowed on defense helped as well. I could see this one finishing pretty close also, but I think the Peacocks have the inside track.
