Houston Christian is fresh off a tepid 38.1 percent shooting from the field and 72.2 percent (16-of-22) from the line in their latest loss to UTSA. The Huskies have lost four straight games now; the good news, however, is that each of those losses came by seven points or fewer. Three of the four were by three points or fewer.

As for East Texas A&M, they committed 21 turnovers (leading to 20 points) in their latest loss to Fort Wayne. The Lions have a couple of close calls mixed in with their seven defeats, but for the most part, they’re not staying too close. That said, the Huskies should be a little closer to East Texas A&M’s wheelhouse.
