I’ll likely just stick with UMBC. The Retrievers didn’t have a ton of issues versus Notre Dame MD in their last game, hitting 54.9 percent from the field with 12-of-16 (75 percent) from the line and a 51-25 rebounding edge. UMBC also had 54 points in the paint but did cough up 13 turnovers along the way. It was a nice bounce-back after just 52 points in a blowout loss to George Washington. The Retrievers have now scored 71 or more points in five of six games this season so far.

As for Delaware State, they’ve had some major issues finding offense this year. The Hornets are coming off 58 points versus Virginia State and had just 41 versus Miami prior to that. Delaware State has been below 67 points in seven of their eight games so far this season. If they can’t find some scoring quickly on Saturday, the Hornets will be playing from behind the whole game.
