I’ll probably lean toward St. Joseph’s, but I’m also probably staying away from this one. The Hawks took a pretty good-sized win (20 points) over Virginia Tech in their last game, shooting 46.6 percent from the field with 33 rebounds along the way. St. Joseph’s has been on a scoring tear lately with a nice 69 or more points in six straight, and 82 or more points in four of those (all wins).
As for Delaware State, they shot a cool 56.4 percent from the field in their latest win over Alabama State but got pummeled on the boards 37-24 (13-4 offensive). That said, the Hornets have scored 71 or more points in five straight games (a 4-1 run) and are more than capable of putting up a decent total here. I like this one to be a high-scoring finish with the Hawks eking out the cover.
