San Francisco Dons Betting Preview

Over on the San Francisco side, they’ve been through three games without a blemish thus far. The Dons took out Cal Poly 86-78 in their opener, then dispatched Boise State 84-73 in game two. San Francisco scored 48 second-half points in the win over the Broncos.

Matched up against Long Beach State on Wednesday, the Dons took a 36-24 edge into the locker room. San Francisco kept rolling from there on a 48-30 stretch and won it 84-54. Malik Thomas topped the team with 15 points, two rebounds, and two assists.

I’ll likely lean toward the Dons. San Francisco has had little difficulty through three games this year; they’re playing well overall. In their latest win over LBSU, the Dons shot a nice 59.3 percent from the field with 33 rebounds and 19 assists—but did have 14 turnovers. That makes 84 or more points in each game this year for San Francisco.

As for Chicago State, they were drilled by a comparably great Texas team in their last outing, hitting just 29.7 percent from the field with a 46-30 rebounding deficit. The Cougars will match up a little better here, but I don’t think they’ll get close enough to cover against a hot Dons team.
