Brown vs Providence Prediction
I’ll stay with the Friars. Providence pulled off a pretty nice game versus Rhode Island this past weekend, despite the 14 turnovers anyway. The Friars shot a nice 57.4 percent from the field and 48.3 percent (14-of-29) from outside along with a 32-20 rebounding edge. Rhode Island’s 17 turnovers didn’t hurt either. Since their consecutive losses to Wisconsin and Florida, Providence has a combined 184 points over the last two games.
As for Brown, they destroyed an overmatched Elms College team last weekend. The Bears shot 60.4 percent in that one with a 46-18 edge on the boards and a 56-12 advantage in the paint. Brown bagged 20 steals off a whopping 28 Elms turnovers. The Bears have scored well over the last two outings, but they’d been under 60 points for three straight games prior to that.
