New Hampshire Wildcats Betting Preview

New Hampshire has had a pretty rough year overall, but to be fair they’ve been doing better since early February. The Wildcats won just two of their first eight games, taking out Massachusetts-Boston and Endicott College. After a losing streak that lasted from November 23 to January 11, New Hampshire took out Binghamton and UMBC. Since then it’s been a 4-7 run for the Wildcats with wins over UMBC, NJIT, Umass Lowell, and Albany among losses to NJIT, Bryant, UMass Lowell, Maine, Vermont, Binghamton, and Maine again. That gives New Hampshire an 8-22 overall record through 30 games this year.

In the Thursday matchup with Maine, the Wildcats faced an eight-point deficit by the break. New Hampshire got better in the second half with a 36-35 edge but still lost 73-66 in the end. Tops in scoring was Sami Pissis with 24 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Khalil Badru had 12 points with seven rebounds and five steals, while Davide Poser put up 10 points with three rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes.

Bryant Bulldogs Betting Preview

Over on the Bryant side, they didn’t start out the year so well, but they’ve been doing much better since the beginning of January. The Bulldogs limped to a spotty 6-9 run over their first 15 outings, then hit a winning streak over Maine, Vermont, Albany, UMass Lowell, New Hampshire, Binghamton, UMBC, and NJIT. The next six games were a 4-2 run for the Bulldogs. The losses in that time were versus Albany and Vermont; otherwise, it was wins over Binghamton, NJIT, UMBC, and UMass Lowell. Through 29 games that would give Bryant an 18-11 overall record.

Matched up against Maine on Saturday, the Bulldogs were up 38-37 going into the second half. Bryant kept it going on a 42-35 run from there and took the eventual win 80-72 on the road. Rafael Pinzon led the team with 28 points, three assists, two rebounds, and two steals. Barry Evans added 14 points with eight boards, two blocks, and two assists. Connor Withers led the bench scoring on 10 points with nine boards and three assists in 32 minutes of work.

Why the Bryant Bulldogs will win

  • Bryant has won nine of its last 10 games against the America East Conference at Chace Athletic Center.
  • New Hampshire has lost each of its last four games at Chace Athletic Center against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • New Hampshire has lost the first half in 10 of its last 11 games against non-AP-ranked opponents.

Why the New Hampshire Wildcats will win

  • Bryant has lost three of its last four night games at Chace Athletic Center against non-AP-ranked opponents.

New Hampshire vs Bryant Prediction

I’m going to stay with Bryant. Probably not touching this one, though. The Bulldogs played fairly well in a road win over Maine this past weekend, shooting 47.5 percent from the field. Bryant hit a tepid 6-of-22 (27.3 percent) from 3-point range though, and 18-of-26 (69.2 percent) from the line. Still, that gives the Bulldogs five wins in their last six games, with 78 or more points scored in each victory. Bryant has lost just twice in this 2025 calendar year.

The last time these teams met up was back on January 23 in a 95-76 road win for the Bulldogs. In that one, Bryant got out-rebounded 42-36 but had advantages in pretty much every other aspect. The Bulldogs shot 49.3 percent from the field and had just six turnovers while scoring 24 points off 13 New Hampshire turnovers on the other side. I like Bryant to post a strong effort in the home rematch and power out a cover.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Bryant Bulldogs -18.5
