Two games ago against Santa Clara, the defense wasn’t as good, and they ended up losing 83-49.

Pacific is averaging 69.7 points, while their defense is giving up 75.2 points per game. The offense hasn’t been great but the biggest issue with the team has been the defense, and they are going to need the defense to be a lot better here to find some sort of success.

The answer to whether Pacific can play enough defense is pretty easy, the answer is no. Pacific’s defense is giving up 75.2 points per game and they are going to really struggle here. Gonzaga just has too many offensive weapons, especially against bad teams, and that will end up being the difference here. Gonzaga is going to score at least 95 points here, and they will cruise to the win and the cover. I am still not sold on Gonzaga being Final Four quality, but they will beat up in this game.
