Boise State Broncos Betting Preview
The Broncos really only have a couple of spotty stretches in the books this year. Other than that it’s been mostly victories. Boise State opened on an 11-3 run with wins over Oakland, Corban College, Clemson, Hampton, South Dakota State, Utah Tech, Saint Mary’s, Texas Southern, Air Force, San Jose State, and Wyoming in that time. A 2-4 run came next featuring losses to San Diego State, Utah State, New Mexico, and Colorado State, then a pair of wins over Nevada and Fresno State, giving the Bulldogs a 15-7 overall record so far this season.
In the Fresno State matchup on Saturday, the Broncos exited the first half holding a 44-26 edge. Boise State kept it up from there on a 38-34 run and took the eventual win 82-60 in the end. Leading the team in scoring was Andrew Meadow with 20 points and three rebounds. Both Tyson Degenhart (nine rebounds; one assist) and Alvaro Cardenas (seven assists) each chipped in 13 points, while Javan Buchanan had 10 points and six rebounds.
UNLV Rebels Betting Preview
Over on the Rebels’ side, they’ve had a few pretty good runs this season but those have been mixed with a few rough spots. UNLV opened on a 5-5 stretch with losses to Memphis, Mississippi State, Northwestern, Creighton, and Dayton. Wins over UC Riverside, Fresno State, Air Force, and San Jose State followed, then a 2-6 run. The wins in that octet came versus Utah State and San Diego State. Otherwise, it was losses to Boise State, Colorado State, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah State, and Nevada in that time for a .500 record through 22 games so far.
Matched up against Nevada in their Saturday outing, the Rebels hit a 33-30 deficit by halftime. UNLV never ended up getting any closer than that, falling behind further on a 38-35 run and losing 71-65 in the end. Jaden Henley was the team’s leading scorer with 14 points three assists and three steals. Both Dedan Thomas and Jeremiah Cherry had 12 points apiece, while Jailen Bedford had nine points and four boards in 12 minutes off the bench.

Boise State vs UNLV Prediction
I’ll stick with Boise State. The Broncos hit 48.4 percent from the field in their latest win over Fresno State while holding the opposition to just 38.2 percent on the other side. The 37-28 rebounding edge and 11 points off 13 turnovers helped Boise State immensely also. It was a pretty nice all-around win over a struggling squad. The Broncos have been a mixed bag when it comes to scoring (and winning) lately, but this is a matchup that should be favorable.
The last time these teams met up back on January 7, Boise State rolled to an 81-59 blowout win at home. The Broncos shot well in that one with 49.2 percent from the field and 13-of-15 (86.7 percent) from the line alongside a 38-21 rebounding edge. The 20 points off 14 Rebels turnovers didn’t hurt, either. Boise State isn’t going to be able to rely on so many turnovers in this road matchup, however, they should still have the advantage in most facets.
