UCONN vs. Georgetown Prediction
I’m on the Hoyas and the points in this one. Georgetown has made significant strides and improvements in year two under Ed Cooley, now that Cooley has had some time to implement his coaching styles and philosophies, and to get his guys in there to run them. The Hoyas have been a lot more competitive in step-up spots and I think they can be competitive at home here. The Huskies just don’t have the same aura about them this season that they’re infallible. We’ve seen UCONN stumble in spots and that’s not to say they can’t go for a three-peat to defend their national title, this one just doesn’t instill fear into anyone like teams of the last couple of seasons might’ve. I think that the Capital One Arena will be rocking for this game and that the Hoyas will come to play here. Give me Georgetown and the points in this one.
